
Nina Murray and I appear to be taking her dog for a walk in our nightgowns. This photo was probably taken around 1952 or so. We are on the front walk of 918 South Jackson, where I grew up.
On a quiet street sat a large light green house with a stone porch & white pillars. The bay windows on either side of the front door were crowned with leaded glass panels. Inside the house lived five extraordinary girls with two remarkable parents. They were American born Irish catholics.
