allrighty folks...here we go again! i don't no why the photos disappeared on the first post of this...so here's a repeat performance.

questions: how has your "original" label effected you? do you still relate to this label as your primary core essence? what happens when you've "tried-on" the other labels?
what are your ideas of mom and dad's labels? crazy, shy, anchor, sorceress? this could be a separate post rather than a comment...up to yuz guyz, geez. luv, b

i'm still a dreamer, always have been, always will be. "dreamer" can be mixed with some/all the other labels and can be practical as well.

i've used this archetype to envision how we can treat ourselves, each other and our beautiful planet. i do think we have the capacity to get to another level of consciousness. i feel we are built for it, it is hard-wired into our DNA. but with the darkness in our human consciousness (war, dominance, etc.) we might not get there globally...time will tell.
i also have been fascinated with different culture's ideas about dreaming; and Carl Jung's understanding about dreaming and the collective unconscious; Carlos Castaneda/Don Juan method's of break-through dreaming...how to bring one's conscious mind into the dreaming state. then through studying n.l.p. we learned to bring the unconscious mind to consciousness through hypnosis.
on a practical/daily level dreaming can lead to figuring out how we pollute and find solutions: physically, (i.e. garbage or recycling); mental/emotional garbage = therapy; conscientious shopping: eat organic, support local farmers, start a local economy, less support of corporations that have been abandoning us; stop burning gasoline or lessen car driving, ride a bike, etc. so parts of being a dreamer has a deep level of responsibility woven into it...the bigger picture.
how about you enjah and poet?

I guess being labeled a genius has hampered me, but I do take tests well. Mom and Dad seemed to think I could know things without ever having any training on them. Actually, I study whatever I am interested in, and I have (well I had, until recently) a good ability to recall what I have read, and a good reasoning ability.

I don't think that is what constitutes genius.

I learn from other people, and if I perceive someone as having ideas or habits that resonate with me, I "take a page from their book". The I Ching says something about this in the Hexagram I / Increase:

Wind and thunder: the image of INCREASE.
Thus the superior man:
If he sees good, he imitates it;
If he has faults, he rids himself of them.

While observing how thunder and wind increase and strengthen each other, a man can note the way to self-increase and self-improvement. When he discovers good in others, he should imitate it and thus make everything on earth his own. If he perceives something bad in imself, let him rid himself of it. In this way he becomes free of evil. This ethical change represents the
most important increase of personality.
